Orienteering 49:24 [3] 6.61 km (7:28 / km) +131m 6:48 / km

1st leg relay practice at Coille Nathais. x3 mass starts. Feeling pretty tired. To be honest there wasn't much navigating at times but it was mostly good when it was happening. A good end to a good few days. Maybe a bit disappointed by the results and still some work to do but definitely enjoyed it.

Orienteering 35:32 [3] 5.19 km (6:51 / km) +85m 6:20 / km

3rd leg relay practice at Ardnaskie. Very muddy but good fun. Started off quite fast then dropped off but picked it back up at the end.

Orienteering 59:10 [3] 5.63 km (10:31 / km) +142m 9:20 / km

Night o at Airds park. Not a great run with some big sections were I didn't have a clue where I was. Luckily my bearings in these parts were pretty good so I ended up somewhere near the control.

Friday Feb 17 #

Orienteering 1:27:55 [3] 10.69 km (8:13 / km) +393m 6:57 / km

Long at Glen Nant. A pretty mixed run. Fine until the last part of 5 when I ended up too far down the hill. I think I just stopped concentrating as much because I was nearly there but I also didn't see there was stream next to it (can I blame the 1:15000 map?) which would also have told me I was too far down. A few more small mistakes mainly in and around control circles after that. Then I was too far left then too far down at 11.

Talent squad camp. Middle at Coille Nathais. Not a great run, 2 big mistakes and a few smaller one.

Oban sprint. Was feeling pretty good after the morning race. Was going well until 6 when I missed a junction thinking it was a drive way. Then fine until 10 where I went on to the wrong side of a wall twice.
