Sapper selection....45 pound ruck without water....probably about 55 pounds of gear total (plus water)

Sapper selection...I'm not really sure about the time (we weren't allowed to wear watches) or distance, so I will leave it that I was running a 7 minute per mile pace for about 5 miles unless I hear differently

Today was Sapper Selection Day 2008...consisted of the following:

Formation at 0520
2 minutes push-ups
2 minutes sit-ups
Graded pull-ups
Go/No-Go rope climb
1 hour, 20 minute PT smoke session consisting of various stations
EPW crawl for 150 meters
5-ish mile run
RECOVERY
11.93 mile ruck in 2:37:46
5 minute shoulder smoke session
Weighed rucks and RECOVERY
Carried a port-a-john up a hill with 100 other dudes.

I'm going to log the ruck and the run as best I can, but the other stuff will be hard to, so I will just leave it off...good/not fun workout.

6 x (1/2 mile sprint, 1/3 mile rest interval)....generally held anywhere from 2:55 to 3:05 on the 800's, pretty crappy day for running though, the odd (north) 800's were directly into the wind, so that was not fun, and was reflected in the times
