Sunday May 6

orienteering race 1:45:09 [5] 12.89 km (8:09 / km) +357m 7:10 / km

Ran the long. Warmed up a little. Was running really well with only a few small mistakes. John caught me at the 8th control. We pretty much went back and forth the whole way. We caught mike at ten and he joined the race. It was fun running head to head.

Saturday May 5

orienteering race 1:10:00 [3] 7.1 km (9:52 / km)

At the middle race. Warmed up a mile then ran the middle, 5.5k course in 50:24. It was pretty bad i was running all over the place with a number of big mistakes.

Friday May 4

orienteering race 30:00 [3] 4.4 km (6:49 / km)

At the team trials sprint. Warmed up about half a mile and stretched really well. Ran the sprint, i messed up the first control really badly but after that i picked it up and ran hard the whole way with no real mistakes. Time for 2.8k 14:46. Warmed down half a mile.

Wednesday May 2

track race 20:00 [3] 1.5 mi (13:20 / mi)

My calves were still kind of bad so i took it easy today. We had a race. I warmed up with an 8 minute mile. I practiced hurdling a little. I ran the 400m hurdles in 64 seconds. And then probably ran like a 56-57 on the 4x400 meter relay. Calves felt better after the race.

Tuesday May 1

Running 51:29 [3] 8.0 mi (6:26 / mi) +100m 6:12 / mi

Long run again cut it a little short because my calves were bothering me.

Monday Apr 30

track 33:10 [3] 5.2 mi (6:23 / mi)

Ran early today so i could get in two work outs today. Warmed up 1.1 warm down 1.1 miles. Ran 3 miles at a good pace. Time 17:29. Ran 6:05, 5:50, 5:34, mile splits.

track 31:53 [3] 5.0 mi (6:23 / mi)

Warmed up with a 6:57 mile. Then ran a three mile again in 18:00, mile splits 6:06, 6:02, 5:52. Warmed down with a 6:54 mile.
