Note

I really wanted to run yesterday, but was in a ton of pain and couldn’t do homework and had to miss some classes because of it, so I decided not to run. Hopefully I can run today, but I’m still in quite a bit of pain, so it might just be an easy run instead of the hill run I was planning on

Still not feeling great. Still a fair amount of pain, and exhausted and super unmotivated. I guess I’m not running today and I have no time to run tomorrow. Kind of disappointed with the way this week of training ended

Not only did I do a long run, I did my longest run ever! Because there are two days this week where I’m so busy I can’t run at all, my training schedule this week is super weird. This was kind of a confidence builder for the JWOC long, and also I guess I’m in way better endurance shape than I thought. First half was alone and second half was with my dad, who wanted to go fast. I wanted to go on some hillier trails but I didn’t have time because I had exactly 2 hours from the time school got out to the time I had to leave to eat dinner with my grandparents because they happened to be in Washington. This was nowhere near as painful as I expected, but I did just want to be done during the last mile. I’m really tired now so hopefully I get through the solo recital I have tonight and the math final I have tomorrow

That was really difficult and really fun! Head wind and not having anyone to draft off of sucked. Very happy about the consistency of my splits, I went out a bit fast, but I was trying to get away from this one girl so I didn’t have to worry about her randomly stopping in front of a barrier and messing me up. I’m super happy with my progress this season. This is the first race ever where I haven’t stuttered on any water barriers! So excited for my long run tomorrow!!
