Novelty Reef, affectionately known as brown rock now.

Well looked small and not too good from shore but ended up quite good. Couple barrels including one that I cooked horrendously. No one out for 2/3 the time and no more than at one time (right at end). Look forward to going back next megaswell.

Calf and hamstring cramping a lot. Muscles quite sore from doing so after so didn't run.

Xc Relays - Leg 3.
94mm of rain in one day makes for a pleasant cross country experience.
Started quite far back as slowest two on leg 1 and 2 but had my eyes set on someone a little slower 20s ahead. Reeled then in over the course of the lap but then they suddenly kicked around a corner and stayed ahead for the next 700m before getting them on a corner.
Then got lapped :(.
Was at least 35s slower on second lap. Pretty comparatively slow but been sick.
Team ended up 6th/10. Not bad.

Sat on a 17 the whole way around. Picked up the pace with a lap to go because I didn’t want to leave it to a kick. Pretty chilled at 3:40-45 for most. Last lap around 3:10-15.
