30mins cycle. Watt Bike.

Ride on! Yeah that was fun. Something different. Should I wear a helmet? Just kidding. Probs went a little faster than I should at some moments. Wanted to feel a bit of pain in my quads though. Could get used to that. Very fun.

Slept much better last night. Now just a snotty nose and lower energy. Felt okay on this one. Should be right by tomorrow. Interesting how much the race obviously took out of me.

Felt a bit better this morning but not near 100%. Body started to feel better towards the end. Very easy.

Very long day in theatre and not feeling too good. Stood up all day with lead clothing on. Finally got out at 7pm and straight to the gym for 30 mins. Not feeling well, didn’t want to do more. Above the throat illness.

Can tell my body is worn out on the run. Think you are right that this might take easy running into next week. Easy days from work now at least.

Sleep is a bit rocky. Waking up at random hours, body is still a bit stressed. Been up early for work last two days and tomorrow. Quads are still very stiff but movement on the run was better today. I ran 35mins because I was called into a case earlier than expected. No issues sunning. However I think I’m coming down with a cold tonight - runny nose and sneezing a lot. See how I’m feeling tomorrow.

30’ easy.

Took 15mins to warm into the run. Quads are very heavy and painful (DOMS). Quad strength moving uphill felt tremendous. Breathing was excellent, felt like there was a lot of strength to the lungs after the marathon workout. Body generally feels quite good but I have been enjoying a cup of coffee each day since so that could be masking some of the recovery.

No injuries detected. All seems fine.
