HFW. Is there a term for cyclists who are knobs? Had one draft me for a km before overtaking and then pushing hard to get away. let him go but caught him again at Radyr when he took the hill option. he then tried to drop me again, but stayed on his wheel for a while, long enough to see him run a cyclist coming against us into the dirt as he was in the middle of the trail. Caught him again on the hill up to Ton but he then pulled out in from of a car, so let him go before catching him again in the village, again he pushed hard to get away. Don't mind the pushing hard but don't get why, when you sit on someones wheel, that you then have to try and drop them as soon as you pass them.

MDC from Bike Park Wales. This didn't do to plan. Started well with some nice exploration of Rhydycar and feeling quite reasonable. Nice trail up to the top of the hill and then onto the footpath along the top that was heavily used by motorbikes. Here Alan skidded on a rut and ended up in a puddle with his ankle pointing the opposite direction. End of run. Clare managed to straighten it for him (not a pretty sight) and the ambulance/mountain rescue called. Fortunately a mild dry evening so left him with Clare and Ake while Matt, Martyn and I an back to get some stuff and guide the ambulance up the track. Fortunately (again) there was a security guard a Bike Park Wales and he opened the forest gates for us. Ambulance wasn't long coming and guided them as close as we could get. Steep walk up to Alan (which one of the paramedics struggled with and he then got stuck in a bog! Fortunately (again) the other paramedic was a biker and both new the area and what to expect - could easily have got a crew who refused to leave the road or drive the ambulance into the forest. A bit of faff but eventually got Alan on a stretcher and carried out - surprised at just how heavy he was when carried between 6. Abandoned him as soon as he was in the ambulance as we needed to get back, warm, dry and fed! Looks like he will be off running for a few days at least...
