Sunday Dec 10

Orienteering 1:38:50 [3]***** 14 km (7:04 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcons
Long O on Tarn Hows with track runs between control picking sections. Very wet and cold with a beast of a climb at the end. Took the first 2/3 quite easy and then pushed quite hard on the final big climb. Happy with the way it felt.

Saturday Dec 9

Orienteering 39:00 [3]**** 3.2 km (12:11 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcons
Put out controls in Nibthwaite, steep and slippery nad close to breakfast. Nice forest but didn't try to hard.
Orienteering 35:00 [3]****
shoes: VJ Falcons
Shaddowed Hector around the second loop, still not a lot of effort put in but a bit more fluid without having to put controls out.
Missed afternoon training as I had to take Steve (coach) to A&E to get a stick removed from his hand. Spent 10 hours waiting in Barrow hospital with him.

Friday Dec 8

Road run 31:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100
Just managed to squash a quick road run in before heading up to the lakes for the Junior Training weekend. Still feeling a bit tired but didn't reallly put any effort into it this evening.

Wednesday Dec 6

Orienteering 48:00 [4]***** 6.2 km (7:45 / km)
Night training, Lady Cannings and Burbage mines. Still tired from Sunday, especially in the deep heather, but an excellent training run none the less.

Tuesday Dec 5

Road run 52:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100
Fulwood and Hunters Bar on roads. Tired on hills but happy running at a nice pace otherwise. Wet and windy - not a nice night to be out.

Monday Dec 4

Circuits 1:00:00 [4]
Actually felt quite good physically today, but was short on motoviation. Needed the fixed time of circuits to get me out to do something.
