Sunday Mar 11

Orienteering race 59:00 [5]9.2 km (6:25 / km) +320m 5:28 / km
shoes: VJ Falcons
National event, Whitbarrow, Lakes. Ran quite well considering how I felt yesterday and was shocked with position (4th, just over two minutes down on OJ), especially as I made a large mistake. The forest bit was awesome, the open very fast and easy.
C • Nice race 5
Warm up/down 25:00 [2]
Steep jog up the hill to the start plus two km back to the finish.

Saturday Mar 10

Orienteering race 29:10 [4]4.3 km (6:47 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcons
Short race in Stockbird Head, Lakes. Ran reasonably but my heart beat was strange and I had no ooomph at all. Alos made a dead stupid mistake by following the north line from 15 torwards 4. Nice little wood but didn't enjoy it much.
Warm up/down warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Friday Mar 9

Note
(rest day)
Lazy again, cought still in the back of my throat though.

Thursday Mar 8

Note
Just plain lazy this evening although I do still have the dregs of the cold hanging around.

Wednesday Mar 7

Note
(rest day)
Not completley better from last week so taking it easy

Tuesday Mar 6

Trail run 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100
Redmires-Stanedge and Rivelin dams circuit with Matt. Tired and stiff from last night but ran ok once things woke up. Matt died at the end so did a few hill reps while I was waiting. Now tired all over...

Monday Mar 5

Warm up/down warm up/down 15:00 [2]
Usuall warming up and down for circuits with a bit of stretching.
Circuits 45:00 [4]
Still a bit off colour from last weeks cold, suffered on the arm exercises but in general wasn't too bad a session. Changed to doing 5 sets of exercises at each station in stead of 6, made it harder as there were more cardio ones and therefore more time spent out of breath.
