Sunday Jun 17

Road bike 1:23:00 [3]
Thought it about time I started using the bikes, especially if I want to do the MBO events in a few weeks. Felt tired, hungry and thirsty after a poor nights sleeping and feeding so took it easy. Up the A57 to Ladybower and back via Stanage and Fulwood. Cracking day to be out although a little windy. Back and butt now not the best.

Saturday Jun 16

Trail run 38:00 [2]
Really had to force myself to gt out today, tired from long days and not enough sleep last week. Dropped down into Rivelin and back up the easiest way I could find. Felt flat but did improve a bit once warm. Glad I made the effort. Water everywhere, must have rained in the period that I've been away...

Friday Jun 15

Note
Train back to Paris, walked from Waterloo to Victoria but aside from that spent the rest of the day on my butt.

Thursday Jun 14

Note
Went to look at a Library and an old railway line that had been converted into a dead nice park with Andy. Spent about 4 hours walking around and then another two walking along the Seine in the evening. Well glad to get on the metro.

Wednesday Jun 13

Road run 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Ascis Gel GT 2110
Went on a mission to explore a bit of Paris. Found a great forest/park and then headed to ther Seine and over to La Defence to have a poke around before heading back up along the river. Dead humid and hot starting so it was great to get caught in the middle of a thunder storm. As well as clearing the heat it it alos helped to get rid of some of the smell of wee.
Note
Versailles today. What an AWFUL lot of high straight hedges and broken water features and not a lot else. Worth seeing but have no desire to go back.

Tuesday Jun 12

Note
Another day wandering Paris parks. Did Parc Andre Citroen (quite interesting) and walked along the river to the Eiffel Tower and a neat museum garden and living wall near there. Tired feet from pavement pounding and very hungry, so didn't have the motoviation to head for a run.

Monday Jun 11

Note
Parc la Villette and around. Very interesting day and a good mix of Landscape styles to look at. On our feet for about 6 hours so tired even though we probably only walked less than 10 miles.
