Around Derwent Water as I wanted to run in the Lake again as I was there. Legs were surprisingly good but quite happy to do a flat run. Quite a nice loop but also quite busy.

Supporting AndyS on his (successful) BG attempt - though it was far from certain that it was going to be during this leg!. Kind of like looking after a child - had to feed him, made sure he was drinking, clean up his vomit, provide him with toilet paper, encourage him and tell him he's doing great, pick up the stuff that he drops... Was fun and a lovely clear day to be in the hills - thankfully with enough cloud cover and wind to take the edge off the heat. Easy pace and legs were good enough, though the last descent (longest in England?) was hard on the quads. Spent so much time feeding and watering Andy that I didn't look after myself as well as I should have, but that wasn't a problem as I got to eat loads at the end of the leg.

MDC run from Betwas. As usual, found the climb hard on this route (need a longer warm up) but enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting and felt a lot better than I have of late. Very sticky evening.
