Run - Trail 2:41:55 intensity: (12:08 @1) + (22:06 @2) + (36:20 @3) + (47:14 @4) + (44:07 @5) 22.55 km (7:11 / km) +553m 6:24 / km
ahr:144 max:198 shoes: Salomon Fellraiser 2019 (aqua)

Loop to the north-east and north-west with Martyn, with the connection being all new (but also quite a bit of road). More tired than I was expecting from yesterday but was still climbing reasonably well, just then ran out of oomph when wanting to move a bit quicker. No complaints though, as it's been the first proper week of training that I've done since the start of the year.

Bike - Gravel 4:21:45 [2] 73.85 km (3:33 / km) +1161m 3:17 / km

Loop of the Rhonda on the gravel bike with Mark, Emma and Nick. Really enjoyable, surprisingly mild after looking like it was going to be cold, also not all that muddy. Had the shortest ride of the group but was still tired enough by the end. Really nice to see some people!

Run - Trail 50:55 [3] 8.25 km (6:10 / km) +250m 5:22 / km
shoes: Salomon Fellraiser 2019 (aqua)

Loop of the Garth and Lesser Gath. Just wanting an easy day, but legs were working well even though they were tired, and as it was such a glorious day I made the effort to get to the top of the hill - first time in ages. Watch failed again when home so have lost the gpx, but have just been onto Garmin help so hopefully it won't do it again.

In Pendine for work so took the opportunity to tick off a bit more of the Wales Coast Path. Coast Path bit was wet, grassy or tar and not very interesting, glad that I didn't make the trip here just to do it. Also no option other than roads to make a loop. Still, it was a cracking day, the views over the sea were lovely and my legs were hardly complaining - even after yesterdays tarmac!

To Gabalfa. Bit of a rush so had to run a bit harder than I was planning, but happy that the legs were reasonably happy doing this. A few new roads explored but not so many.

Run - Road 49:07 intensity: (11 @1) + (4:50 @2) + (36:45 @3) + (7:02 @4) + (19 @5) 9.63 km (5:06 / km) +55m 4:58 / km

Home from Gabalfa. Starting easy and as usual, starting to feel quite tired towards the end. had ahead torch so cut through the woods and fields at Forest Farm (saw two foxes and a cat).

MDC on my own, but way to nice a day not to get out, though I was too late to catch sunset. Lots of people on Caerphilly mountain having decided that their trip there constituted compulsory travel. It doesn't bother me that people are out exercising but it does that they are travelling when I don't feel like I can. But was otherwise feeling positive as my legs are still working well.

FVO Pilates. Body simply not up for this, so took it very easy. probably not helped by not having done any strength work for the last few weeks.
