Early start to get the train. Welcomed with a bit of a damp morning but cycle was easy and there was feck all traffic.

Rathmore to Inchigeelagh via as much gravel as I could find. Roads past the Papa was much better than expecting, while the forest from the County Bounds was also good gravel terrain, as was the track over Carraigalougha. Nice to call in a "home" but a shame to see it looking so unloved. Nice to be cycling many of these routes for the first time.

Early start, drive to Holyhead, boat to Dublin and cycle out to Roar and Gina's empty apartment. All gently uphill but also cycle lanes all the way, which was a surprise.

MDC from Donna's, surprisingly nice rote and quite a few bits that I'd not done. One big group so pace was very steady, but quite a long one and my right hip was bugging me for the last 4km.
