Thursday Mar 6

Trail Running intervals 15:00 [4]6.16 km (2:26 / km)
ahr:150 max:205 (injured) shoes: Saucony Grid Hurricane 8
Went out to do 2 x 1200s, 4 x 800s with 2min RIs. Decided I would try doing them on Flirtie unless it was too muddy. I warmed up around the Plain, and then did a test loop, and Flirtie seemed ok.
5:49 for the first one @ 1210m and 5:51 for 1110m for the second one. Early in the second one I started to feel almost a knot in my right hamstring which didn't go away. I lost motivation and decided I better not push until I really get injured. Tonight, it still feels the same, so I'm glad I backed off.

Tuesday Mar 4

Running tempo 45:39 [3]8.18 km (5:35 / km)
ahr:148 max:175 shoes: Saucony Grid Hurricane 8
Rushed out to get in a work-out, but was under-dressed for the cold & blowing rain. Plan was 1mi WU, 2mi tempo, 1mi slow, 2mi tempo, 1mi slow. I went down to BSF, up to Michie, through the lots and started to climb up toward Stony, but ended the 2mi, so I looped around the parking lot and then came back the way I started so I won't be late for the WPR outbrief. Was pretty chilled til I got back, and didn't feel that peppy during the run.
