World Cup Sprint

Probably put a bit of pressure on myself after Fridays race, but still felt good going into it, had a good warm up, had a plan for the first control/ start kite.

First part of course was going good nav ok, legs feeling ok then got to the tunnels and thought i knew what was going on but flew past where i wanted to be getting once again very confused and upset and panniked then once id got the control couldnt get out of the panniked state which led to breathing problems, very tight chest, although i was naving fine for the next bit i couldn't push cause i could barely breath (not ideal) so then had to slow down. then into the final tricky bit was brain dead so almost missed 21 as i was working out how to get up to 22, then just a crawl to the finish

Again not at all happy with my performance, there are some positives at the start but i really need to fix the pianiking problem cause that just sends me downhill with my breathing

Think i need to remember its ok to stop double check routes and go back to definitive known points.

Next weekend - new country, new start

Started warming up got alot of mine done in the terrential rain, thunder, lightning and hail then go back in to do some final bits inside to find that starts are delayed by 30mins

World Cup KO Qualification Heat 2

Felt good going into it, was on the start line with a spanish girl id been racing last weekend at ASOM so felt good.

Picked up map ran to start kite already had route planned but i didn't quite have my map orientated correctly so ran off 90degrees wrong but not realising, kept up with plan but things stared to not quite add up but i couldn't understand why, ran back not all the way to the start but then down another road to try work it out spent a long time begging very confused running in circles and getting very flustered and upset. eventually find my no 1 as my 2 minute person was punching so knew i had binned 2 mins. then just picked a safe route to 2, not the best route but got it done and calmed me down. then got all good routes from there, managed to just about stay on my feet through the very wet and slippy grass (more grip on should would have been good but didn't pack those shoes as i did know i would be doing this race). very wet conditions, but also just hard to get going again after such a large loss to 1.

Annoyed and upset as that is not what my navigation is normally like, I have alot more to show
