8:3x1 z3, followed by 3:3x2 z4. Weird mix of rain, hail, and sun when I was out, but it was better than 27 degrees! A little less intensity time as part of the "taper".
Left ankle is a little annoyed ever since I stepped into a hole on Thursday. I think it's fine, but something to keep an eye on.

Jynkänvuori orienteering. Fairly decent, but some bad mistakes on the shorter controls. At least I did manage some solid times on the longer legs

This was a lesson in character building. Worked late, had almost 6 hours worth of meetings, then rushed out the door to practice. Unsurprisingly, my focus was shit. I bailed from the first course to avoid everyone, then mentally regrouped and ran the second course. Not my best showing, but it was not going to be a day for good orienteering.
