cbf with a warm down coz i was finished racing. hahaha.
and thank goodness ive nearly finished logging all this stuff. lol.

Orienteering race 1:18:33 [5] *** 9.7 km (8:06 / km) +375m 6:47 / km

bit disappointing i had to finish the week on this run. wasnt the greatest. must have just been to slow through the terrain. lost about 45secs on #5 and about 2mins on number 11 which is really bad. even then lachy and hanny were still a bit in front of me. oh well. coulda been worse. and controls 2 3 and 4 were heaps awesome. lots of fun. tough through the marshes later on though. and waking up controls is lame :P

good solid warm up for the sprint. my knee felt wierdo after the race in the warm down :S

awesome sprint around utas. was so much fun.
very pleased to have another good run :D (except for the bit of a debacle in the finish chute. dammit :P)
clean run again which was good. probs lost a little bit of time on control #73 by running around a building unnecessarily. then was a bit slow on the long leg :( gah.
came away with another win and just outside the top 6 seniors. awesome :D

awesome tricky course round some mining stiff in jason's task.
started out a bit dodgy. spiked one but i thought i got lucky. aiming to go a bit right to 2 but went too far right and got confused by guillies and stuff. had to go like 5m further to 4 and i woulda got it fine but hesitated. lachy had caught me already but got away from him coz 5 seemed dodge. didnt see him again which was good coz it meant i was oing completely by myself but i dont think he was far behind. caught callum and james somewhere. they made a mess of 10 though being even higher than me. lol. saw callum again but was still oing well by myself doing my own think.
very encouraging exercise and felt very pleased with how i went. was so much fun and so tricky :D

insane relay simulation out at littlechiled. felt like we were flying around from the start. bolted around the track to the first one coz i thought most went straight but then i turned around to see heaps of people behind me. lol. made a slight mistake at 2 coz of the splitting. bit silly but i dont think i got too far behind. lachy and leon got in front after crossing the marsh to 9 but stuffed it up so i was damn suprised to finish and realise they werent there. sweet, ill take the win :) lol.

such an epic day.
bout 1hr doing the exercises. first long leg i had picked the best route but was probs a bit sloppy executing it and stuffed up in the circle a bit. downhill leg was fine. then the next long leg i picked a bad route but i felt like a exectued it a lot better. so pretty happy all up.
then went out again to do ahh...a bit of searching. was so exhausting to run the the whole west(?) side of the map again :( lol. got back an i was so hungry i had a gel coz it was all i had :P hahaha.
atleast i got in heaps of practice... lol.

warm up along the track and back.
then warm down getting a control with krystal and hanny.

teamed up to make an awesome team with krystal!! cept then i decided to make a few mistakes on the controls so that was a bit bad on my behalf :( lol. think both times i was rushing a bit because of the fast nature of the exercise. did like the area ll that much. all the bloody shell piles just didnt do it for me... yuck.
