Big Foot Sprints #1.
ran pretty hars and i was clean. a fair bit of dead running once you picked out the gaps in the fence you had to go through. last section in the pool was cool. ended up 3rd, 8sec behind easy and 28 behind lachy.

was quite excited for the chasing start but a little worried i might die. caught ezy a little at the start but never got in front of him at any point. was sort of just hanging on. and being a little sloppy in the trickier section/just before it let him get his 8sec lead again. caught a few glimpses of lachy but we finished in the order we started. and pretty much the same times too. i think i had a bigger gap after me so i was pretty happy to not have anyone catch me.

run from lidcombe (ridiculously dodgy) out to homebush. bit of a loop then back. tried to run on the paths around homebush and i ended up running in a spiral up a hill for about 5mins. ridiculous idea! finished quite fast in the last 20mins or so.

hills session in ashtonfield. bit different this week but i should have changed to a different hill as well. 6 x1min, 8 x 30sec with jog back down recovery. tried to be a bit quicker heading down the hill this week. not feeling awesome, but better than yesterday!

ended up being a draw! how intense. played pretty good but i did not like the other team or the umpire much at all. timmy had a shot on the buzzer but it was just out :(

started well, then it became a struggle after 55mins, an ultra struggle after 80mins, and then i wanted to collapse after 98mins. im happy to blame the heat. got in the pool after and i feel better now.

completed my death at the track for another week. 5 x 600, 300. lacking a bit of pace compared to last week but i worked pretty damn hard. you always feel good when you finish a session like this. laying down on the nice grass in exhaustion was a highlight.

quite a bit of action at a roundabout on the drive home with a truck laying on its side in the outer lane. obviously tried to tackle the turn with too much speed. no wonder i hate them on my bike.

easy, cruisy run around ashtonfield. mainly on raods because it has been a little wet. nothing special. legs felt nicer afterwards.
