Event: BOK Cape Lookout

Orienteering 1:45:11 [3] 7.92 km (13:17 / km)
5.5 K Green Course, Cape Lookout National Seashore, BOK event. Haven't done a long Green course like this for some time, but since it was quite the endeavor to get to the meet, I figured I should stay out for awhile. Not the nicest day, to put it mildly, but at least it didn't rain while I was out on the course. Quite a mess going to #8 and ending up in some dark green, and a very confusing time going to #9. I anticipate quite a huge amount of error, but hey, I don't usually orienteer on a beach! Very glad I came and saw this spectacular lighthouse, and spent some time orienteering as well.

Two Bridges Plus, Plus during lunch - I was looking forward to a nice sunny walk outside, but the clouds hung in and I was underdressed. Still pushed through and completed the circuit. Need to double check before I leave in the morning to make sure I've got everything I might need.

Borderland State Park, Sharon, MA. Disappointed that the rain and warmth has chased me off of the ski slopes for yet another weekend but at least this is giving me a chance to check out the parks in MA. This time a state park instead of Trustees, but still a fairly enjoyable outing. Might make a good orienteering map.
