ECOC, Long - 5.3 km, Sutton, Quebec. Long slog through very wet terrain stumbling over lots of deadfall hidden by ferns. Wasn't a huge amount of fun, and not really liking the 1:10,000 map on a cool, very cloudy day. At least the rain held off or it would have been really awful. I don't know how to keep a compass bearing on these types of legs so I had some navigation problems. Very disappointed not to have broken two hours, but I did come in third ahead of a very strong runner, Cathy Bakker. Still a fun weekend hanging out with good orienteering friends and catching a little tennis, on the side.
