Ran for an hour in Chicago. Ran around the park to the north of the city and then along the river. There were tonnes and tonnes of people out, all very exciting for the marathon tomorrow. Felt pretty good and started to wind it up a bit in the second half, just getting carried away as there were people to chase!

20 min warm up, 8 x 90 seconds (1 minute), 15 min warm down. Went pretty hard on the reps. Feeling ok, nothing super, but pretty good. Ran along the river north of the city in Chicago. Started session at 8:30pm on Friday night, I am such a party animal! Although I must have passed about 40 other runners out as well..

Morning run, in Chicago. Was an early one, out the door before 6am and was pretty primed this morning after missing yesterday evening. Was really skipping along for most of the run and must have gotten a bit carried away somewhere with max of 154.

Was a bit tight for time this morning and so I was a bit rushed and found that I was running much faster because of this. Ran in Nike Frees and found an awesome park north of Chicago city. Not mucking around at all this morning, shame didn't have HRM on.

Was a miserable night out in Chicago, it was very windy and raining quite heavily. I headed out about 7pm and so it was pitch black as well, but I had fun out there. Wasn't going too quickly on the way out with the wind blowing, but really scooted home. Ran for further than I was going to initially, so that was a good sign.

Just a pretty normal morning run and did not have to force myself to go further than normal. Quite sleepy as it was an early start, but got going and at least I have got one run done for today, whatever happens at the conference today.

Session of 4 x 5 (1' recovery) along lake shore drive in Chicago, USA. Was a good session, building into it with each rep. HR average (max) for each rep was 161 (173), 166 (174), 170 (177), 174 (182). Very pleased to get a session done, has been a lot of travelling in last week.
