Sneaked off with a small squad to some prime croatian terrain after bagging some maps from a local orienteer.
Got some euoc promo footage in the first section of woods before heading off on the training course.
Laughed at myself after messing up number 1 after missing the invisible path and got caught by hudd towards 2, followed him up the hill to 3.
Was deliberately holding back the pace a little as usual but was still pretty dropped by 3, then not enough simplification to 4.
5 was pretty techy and hard to keep contact on but dropped in on it well after seeing stan zoom past on a different leg.
6-8 good then got a bit confused on the contouring to 9 but sorted it quickly.
10 and 11 went well then quite crap to 12 and 13 which were both in large depression features and it was difficult to tell which part in the depression the control was in.
14 and 15 good and then was just slowing down towards 16 due to some awfully marked paths and found the boys waiting for me at the control.
Ran the rest at 15 second intervals from 16 so basically a mass start, struggling to match the pace but pretty much managing and even managing to look at my map every now and again haha.
