| A good sunday long run from usual place with acejase, hoggster, ALJ and Max, Miss Jones, Sanders and Grant. Ran round the base of Ainslie then up the tricky track to the top and back down concrete path. Was going ok for the first hour but started to struggle going up Ainslie. It seemed like a long way back from there and a few of us were getting pretty weary towards the end. It was very nice to stop. |

| Mountain bike ride at Sparrow. Quite social ride with some girls from skills camp. Rode quite hard when was riding but had a lot of rests. think i rode about 70mins though. Skills don't seem to have miraculously improved since last weekend but enjoying riding more. |

| Cockies training on Bruce Ridge. Met on Dryandra St and ran over to hill behind AIS track for some hill intervals. |

| Hill intervals, did 4x long hill followed by short hill up the other side. Tried to stick with Mace and Jase. It was quite painful and 4 was plenty.
Very happy with famous cinnamon toast at vanilla bean afterwards. |

| Summer series orienteering at the Pinnacle. Was a fun course with lots of controls. Really nice there at the moment with short green grass. Exposed all those little rocks that I didn't know were there. Was a bit messy navigation-wise and felt a lot like i'd eaten lunch at 4pm, which was the case. |

| Spent today and yesterday on mountain bike skills camp at Birragai. Had heaps of fun and learnt some new tricks. Finished up at Stromlo for a trail ride this afternoon (where didn't manage to put new tricks into practice). Have to work on them (when grazes and bruises have healed). |

| Cockatoos training at ANU organised by acejace. Started at south oval and warmed up ending up at oval near chifley library. |

| Ran "Andy's famous floats" on oval. Did 10x about 65ish secs with recovery floats for half that distance which took low 40ish secs. It was a good session and made it hard to keep reasonable pace for the recoveries. Started to suffer about half way and felt the lack of intervals and running training lately. Tried to hold onto acejace but the gap started to increase over the last couple.
very nice having breakfast at vanilla bean afterwards and enjoyed the muesli although it was enormous. |

| Went for a mountain bike ride with Fi at Sparrow to get a bit of practice in before mountain bike skills camp in a couple of weeks. Really fun on the windy and not too rocky tracks. Am a bit too bad technically and slow for it to feel like real exercise but got up a bit of a puff on the uphills. |

| Cockies sunday morning run with quite a big turnout. Worthy of note was how punctual we all were following change to daylight savings and we were on the way at 8.01am. Ran from usual spot but did a slightly unusual loop. Ran over Hackett Hill first, then up Ainslie on the tricky track, down the other side and round through Campbell Park and back up to Hackett Hill and back. I was a bit tired and opted for back option after the second Hackett Hill.
Cafe Deli Marco was sadly closed so tried Cafe Praga instead. Raisin toast was disappointing, cold with lots of unmelted butter. |

| Blew the dust and cobwebs off my mountain bike, pumped up the tyres and went for a ride on Bruce Ridge with my sister. I was a bit scared and rusty at first but improved as we went. It was really fun. |
