Saturday Dec 30

Running 1:06:03 [2]6.82 mi (9:40 / mi)
Time to wind another year down. It's been a good one. We had some friends over to Nahant last night, ate, talked, and played games by the fire.

Feeling healthy. Took a run around gorgeous Nahant (route)

Spent about 6 minutes picking my way through coastal rocks around Bass point, avoiding a few patches of ice. Enjoyed running around the pier, and seeing the lobster boats, many of which were shrink wrapped for the winter.
C • Happy new year, Dave! 1

Running 14:30 [2]1.8 mi (8:02 / mi)

Tuesday Dec 26

Running 1:00:00 [2]5.1 mi (11:46 / mi)
Running around town with Barb, looking for entertainment

Monday Dec 25

Running 59:58 [2]6.5 mi (9:13 / mi)
Barb's dad, Stan, does this 6.5 mile walk 3 times a week when he's not stirring up a revolution. It's a nice route; quite scenic. Apparently the woods are part of 68,000 acres of forest preserve surrounding Chicago.

Sunday Dec 24

Running 1:15:00 [2]7.1 mi (10:34 / mi)
in Park Forest, Illinois. Morning jog into a forest preserve. The terrain was very flat, but with distinhuishable contours. I thought it might bear some similarity to the Batona event.
