Surprisingly good run. First 6 km were all 4:45 to 4:47, then a slightly faster one.

Short gym session as I work back into things

Was following the disucssion thread on hte WMOC sprint final and I looked at a number of the routes that had been loaded up by competitors. I was very surprised to observe some who ran through OOB areas. I suppose it is to be expected that with so many competitors some will have taken short cuts, but surprising to see them put them up on the tracker for the world to see.

Managed to run this without coughing or spluttering. Faster than I had expected.
Had a look at some of the route choices for the WMOC sprint final and was surprised by the number of competitors who went through purple out of bounds areas. Even more surprising was that they posted their routes, thereby admitting they had cheated.

Was feeling sufficiently improved to do something this morning, so a gentle run. Managed to get through without coughing and spluttering, so that was a positive.
