A bit tired and stiff this morning. A couple of different exercises in the gym on Wednesday the likely culprit. Loosened up OK once I got going.

Exercise class 30:00 [3]

Was going to go to the evening event, but the train system conspired against me. Trains are usually every 3 or 4 minutes. This evening waited 20 minutes for a train, and then it was so full you couldn’t get on. The next one was another 15 minutes. Gave up and went home to the gym. Apparently a signal failure and the rain caused massive disruption.

Late night again, so skipped the run and settled for a gym session

Monday Aug 12 #

First part of the run was reasonably flat, but then all the climb came at once in the form of a 1k hill average of 10%, but with some bits close to 15%. The return was a bit easier.

This was reasonably short after all the walking

walk 2:30:00 [3] 13.0 km (11:32 / km) +300m 10:21 / km

Fishing in the Scottish highlands. Walked in from the road and around the loch. Some of the most spectacular scenery I have seen, and well worth the walk. Walking was tough, basically knee high heather and very wet under foot.
Managed to catch a couple of fish as a bonus
