That was wet and cold. The whole run had a pretty wild feel to it, which is unusual in the Peaks, where it normally seems so benign. Got quite cold in driving sleet on Stanage and had to put on all my spare clothes. Even then, I was on the edge of comfortable for the rest of the run and had to run quite hard to stay warm. Didn’t see a soul until Houndkirk road. Strangely enjoyable.
