Burbage Northern Champs, 2nd to Joe again. Fluffed a few legs early on and then toiled through the rough stuff. Started running much better in the heather, although it didn't feel like it at the time. Kind of fun, but felt for some of the older competitors on the heathery plateau of doom. Very excited to see Alex cope with a challenging course so well.

Birchen Edge middle. Started a minute ahead of Rich R, so felt a bit of pressure through the tricky early section. Relaxed a bit once through there but tried to keep the intensity up. So much fun on a technical twisty course that was super runnable. Pretty good run and couldn't have got to Joe's time.
