Flamborough Head and back, standard run from Brid. Drizzly day and muddier than I have ever seen it along the cliffs, but enjoyed trotting along on the rolling trails. Seals lazing about on the beach near the lighthouse.

Sewerby Parkrun en route from Brid to North Landing. A little surprised to be off the front after about 100m and it was a solo effort from there. Managed a whole two seconds faster than last year though, which was a nice surprise. Tired plod the rest of the way after that.

Feeling perkier today so took a longer route home. My legs have been pretty good post-OCT, a complete contrast to the Fellsman when my quads were wrecked for over a week. I wonder now if I was perhaps carrying a virus that slowed the recovery? Anyway, this run felt alright, although I was still a bit tired on the uphills.
