Frost to Depot Road and back. 36:08; 33:54. Felt better than I expected.

Very tired. Very easy.

O-meet at Beech Hill. A short blue (6.6k, 230m) Botched three controls, but happy to be able to run (almost) pain free (thanks to a double dose of Advil?). Ideal weather aound 50.

Smith indoors. Finished with a 7:18 mile! Injury assessment: Deep bone pain in the left shin just below the knee. Unfortunately, running faster hurts more, which will make staying fit difficult. Hurts from first step to last, but doesn't seem to be made worse by running. A mistake to run through the pain? Who knows.

Mapreading, while jogging around Smith athletic fields. Did last years billygoat backwards. Running tolerable at this pace!

The usual suspects. Four 400's with 400 rest: 84.2; 82.4; 81.1; 82.7. Then two 200's: 38.3; 37.2. Not bad. Mercifully short.

Did 17 of 18 points from 2000 Mt. Tom meet (skipped #12 in the far east). 4.74k. Ran easy; navigated OK.
