Saturday Dec 21

Track 7:13 [1] 0.75 mi (9:37 / mi)
Testing my leg. Not good.

Thursday Dec 19

swim 16:12 [3]
2x400m. 7:57, 8:15. No stamina.

Wednesday Dec 18

machines 24:00 [3]
stepper, h12, 330 c. mhr 150.

Tuesday Dec 17

machines 12:00 [3]
swim 11:38 [3]
First "lap" swim in a couple years. Did three 400m with 2-3 minute rests. 3:45; 4:00; 3:53. No endurance in my arm/chest muscles. Will take some time to work up to a mile.

Sunday Dec 15

machines 12:00 [3]

Friday Dec 13

machines 24:00 [3]
stepper, h12, 321c

Thursday Dec 12

machines 42:00 [3]
bike 24 (h8, ahr 105, mhr 132;)
stepper 18 (h12, ahre 126, mhr 143, 250 c.)
Note
Orthopedist thinks it's a hamstring strain with bursitus. The exam lasted all of one minute, which doesn't give me much confidence in his judgment; but I'll go with it for now and try some PT.

Tuesday Dec 10

machines 30:00 [3]
stepper, l11 430c, AHR 124, MHR 137

Monday Dec 9

machines 36:00 [3]
bike 18 (h8), step 18 (h12, MHR 148)

Saturday Dec 7

Note
Two hour hike through the snowy woods at Mt. Tom with the dogs. Mapped the new orange-blazed trail which, to my surprise, veers northwest to hit the M&M near the road. Mapping would be a fun and worthwhile thing for me to do - if I didn't have a job.

Friday Dec 6

machines 42:00 [3]
bike 12; stepper 30 (l11, 446c., AHR 124, MHR 137); lifting.

Thursday Dec 5

machines 36:00 [3]
bike, 12; stepper, 24 (hills, MHR143)

Tuesday Dec 3

machines 36:00 [3]
stepper, 24 (AHR 115); bike, 12

Monday Dec 2

machines 30:00 [3]
bike, 12. stepper, 18 (AHR 126).

Sunday Dec 1

Note
Picked up the three controls not included in yesterday's meet. Not sure why Tony didn't include them: nothing technically difficult nor dangerous. Came back by way of the new orange-blazed trail, which made for a nice walk in the woods. It starts at the small, semi-open area at the bend of the road between Lake Bray and the Teabag trailhead, and wanders deep into the "Northeast Kingdom."
