| WCOC sprint A, at Hoyt. First meet since the fall, first time on this map. Ground has mostly 1-2 inches of snow. I wasn't real accurate or smooth: probably six 10-20 second mistakes. Hip sore, but don't think I did any more damage. |

| Sprint B, a bit longer and more demanding. I was more accurate overall, but I made two 30 second mistakes - on 2 and 9 - both involving some vegetation I never should have visited. |

| Mt. Norwottuck, low 50's and plenty of deep, soft snow. (Some bare ground facing south, but some low-lying areas where I went in past my knees.) More trudging than running. Made a couple of parallel errors where there were series of reentrant-spurs, one that baffled me for five minutes. Also a couple of lesser misses due to careless compass. |
