Spent some more time (don't know how much) digging Nancy's car out of the snow, and gave up on the idea of digging out my mailbox, because there's about eight feet of icy concrete between it and the road. After a brief effort to chip away at it with a splitting maul (shovel was no use), I went to the post office and put in an order to hold my mail until further notice.

Also, I seem to have developed an ab. Which is probably not that cool, because I think they're supposed to come in pairs (or better yet, six-packs), and now I'm asymmetrical. Or maybe I just have a swollen spleen or something.

Note

Around the start of the training session with Samantha a week ago, my left hip felt a little funny. Not painful, but slightly out of whack. Didn't really bother me during the run, nor during my subsequent exercise sessions, but I continue to feel it off and on during normal activities. I think I've had this happen before, but I don't remember how long it lasted or what made it go away. I suppose it could be Wyattitis or Swampfox's Malady, but I think maybe last time I decided it was just avascular necrosis, nothing to worry about.

Ah, the benefits of Attackpoint! A quick search reveals that I did have this affliction last April, after doing Northern Nipmuck, and other aspects were quite similar. It appears to have just gone away on its own that time.
