Saturday Nov 11

Event: BATONA 500

Orienteering race 1:17:58 [3]*** 7.55 km (10:20 / km) +105m 9:39 / km
spiked:17/20c
Batona 500 Day 1, Batsto. Not too bad with one very bad exception. Lots of knee-high crud, and I sometimes wasn't able to get myself to run when it was it thick and uphill.
Orienteering race 13:00 [4]*** 1.93 km (6:44 / km) +10m 6:34 / km
spiked:11/12c
Sprint B at Batsto. Bad route choice on one leg that got me stuck in some crud, the rest was fine. Chasing Stanislav and another guy for the latter part of the course.

Day 1 Blue - Splits

Sprint B - Splits

Tuesday Nov 7

Bicycling 10:00 [2]
Time approximate, just a trip to the polling place and back, where I did not cast votes for any pachyderms.
C • Southbound Pachyderms! 3

Sunday Nov 5

Orienteering race 1:16:00 [3]*** 7.5 km (10:08 / km)
spiked:9/12c
NEOC Club Champs, Breakheart, first 12 controls of Blue. DNF (you don't see that often where I'm involved!) because I realized after I had signed up for Blue and copied my course that I wasn't going to have enough time to complete it, due to other commitments. So I just did as much as I had time for, then ran back.
