A nice sunny but windy and 40+ F day in Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation. 4-5 inches of granular snow was still on the ground everywhere but roads and sunny slopes. Roads were mostly icy except paved ones. I was slow on hills but navigated well. At critical choice on a long leg, I changed route thinking incorrectly that I would be going out of bounds.
