Paris, France. Today the family started with a short walk to the George Pompidou Center where we looked at books and went to the observation tube for a view of the city. We also saw the Stravinsky fountain. We metroed over to the Grevin Wax Museum for some fun with historical figures, sports figures, actors and politicians. A few times real people dressed up to impersonate would jump to life. From there we detoured from our agenda to address the upcoming heat, now forecast for 108 F in Thursday. We went to Sacré-Cœur for an even higher view of life and the city. After a little shopping we ate and rode the trains back. To finish up we searched in vain for crepes. Being Sunday, the listed ones were not open. I settled for cookies instead before climbing our 4 flights and relaxing.
