Morning Run.. in new shoes... they made my feet ache! May have been because I hadnt been wearing my orthotics and my feet werent use to them? Anyway run was uncomfortable and I really struggled. Did make it up beepo which means I cant have lost too much fitness. Disturbingly low HR, I was taking it easy, but not that easy?!
Touch (vs Pirates) 40:00 [4]
shoes: Asics GEL LETHAL ELITE II
We Won 10 -3, didnt feel very satisfying tho. Some real bad umpiring at the end!

Orienteering race (5 Mile Beach) 23:35 [5]** 3.85 km (6:08 / km)
shoes: VJ Integrator - Silver
Tas Sprint Champs, 5 Mile Beach -
Didnt have the best start.. so kind of knew I would muck up. Was pretty tired from our event yesterday and my cold was still hanging around a bit. Screwed up the first one on a track!! Just wasnt thinking and started to freak out so even though I was running towards my control I decided that it wasnt the right one and I had already run past it so i turned back.. idiot.
After that, needed to catch all that time back up so ran as hard as I could for the next few legs. Spiked them all as nearly everyone had the same controls and you could see people for miles. Slowed down a bit in the middle and concerntrated on compass bearings. Mucked up second last but it was easily fixed. Totally sprinted to the finish and ended up being only a second slower than Pookie.. which he decided couldnt be true and thinks there was a timing difference in the sportident system....
