AVT trail from Rockhouse to Poverty Hollow and back. Using my new Garmin 205 as my 305 won't hold a charge anymore. I never use the heart rate monitor and the 305 is expensive right now.

Jogging around Hemlock Ravine, north of Halifax. Pretty park with well-maintained dbl track trails. Did a bit of bushwacking and walking on indistinct trails. Wasn't able to get as much distance out of it as I'd hoped. The ravine itself was seriously unimpressive.

Trails in Shubie park and part of the Trans-canada trail in Dartmouth, NS, just east of Halifax. Partly dog park and part of an old canal system with locks and such.

Walking from hotel to king's college in Halifax and then to dinner at Rockbottom brewpub. Excellent beer. Then more walking around town and back to hotel.

A loop on the Redding 1/2 marathon, starting at RR tracks at intersection near post office. With a group formed from the 1/2 marathon. About 12 runners, most of them doing 10 k but I opted for the short distance because of the sprints later that day. Surprisingly slow runners but all very friendly.

Sprint course A, leg two of Charlie's sprint relay at Ratlum Mtn. Messed up 1 and 4.

Orienteering (Sprint) 17:45 [3] 1.4 km (12:41 / km)

Leg 4, sprint B; Took a long time circling the hill around 3 until I found it, started down wrong trail to 5 and then corrected. Little better than first sprint.

Set by Jessica from Flanders OS, Whitmore sanctuary off rt 64 in Middlebury. Confused trail but nice terrain and picnic on-on afterwards. Distance appx because my Garmin isn't holding a charge.

3 courses at Hoyt, set by Joe. Couple small navigation errors but mainly just slow through some swamps and creeks. Fun courses, except maybe for 3.
