New England Trail from Rt 372 in Plainville to Rt 4 in Farmington, then almost 2 hours thru side trails and roads to car. Nice views and interesting slight scrambles up to Pinnacle Rock, Nike Missile site remnants, Rattlesnake mtn.

Skipped a chunk of Ragged Mtn in our continuing trek of the New England trail just because getting back to it from parking was inconvenient. Might re-visit later.
