Note
Went to a winter tree identification hike at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden. We only hiked about a mile in 2 hours and stopped every 50 yards or so to talk about the trees but it was really interesting. Turnout was good--probably 20-25 people--and the naturalist who lead it was knowledgeable. We've never spent time at the park and I want to go back there to run when the running conditions improve. Afterwards, went to IKEA to spend the money we would have spent had we traveled to GA this weekend.
