Running race (Roads) 1:10:34 [4]8.0 mi (8:49 / mi) vdot: 36.6
New Milford 8 miler with Kim. Hilly course, with mile splits ranging from 7:53 to 10:53 depending on how much uphill or downhill. Hot and humid but not too bad. The race was in conjunction with the New Milford festival so the whole town green had vendors. Nice race with a band along the way, a lone violinist, water every mile. Went to Bethel farmers' market after.

Hashing 1:29:00 [3]6.93 mi (12:50 / mi)
Set by Geoff in Pound Ridge. Such a beautiful park. It's a shame they don't allow Oing there anymore.

Wednesday Jul 23

Intervals at the track with Rick.

Orienteering 1:13:00 [2]5.7 km (12:48 / km)
Training at huntington. I tried drawing a long line-O course and then following it as best I could while wearing the garmin. Then I used OGPS to compare my tracks to the line-O to see how accurate I was. The tracks on OGPS weren't quite accurate enough for this terrain and exercise. I was trying to be very precise, going on specific sides of boulders and spurs, of which there are many in Huntington.

Monday Jul 21

Running intervals (Track) 20:00 [3]2.2 mi (9:05 / mi)
Splits for 1/2 laps: :45, 42, 42, 42, 45, 44
Split for 1 lap: 1:43
