Foilmore to Waterville
Steep, rough climb up from b&b to ridge to meet the main trail. Rough footing along ridge with some light rain and mist and then down to road. Easy walk on quiet roads then up another ridge. This one was very long and the sun was shining for much of it so the views were terrific. Could see the bay and lake near Waterville and green valleys on either side of the ridge. Road walk into town.
Overnight at Golf Links view B&B, which was a mile outside of town along the busy n70, Ring of Kerry. Dinner Seacrest restaurant. The b&b owner nicely drove us there and took us home.

Glenbeigh to about 3 miles past Foilmore
Walk above Dingle bay with the Dingle peninsula in view. Then over a pass and along a flat stretch. Ending with a climb and ridge walk. Lots of beautiful valleys. Light rain a few times but not as much as predicted. Very windy.

Black Valley to Glencar
Over two passes, along a lake, down some quiet roads. Rain off and on, lodging was 3 miles into the next day's leg so our walk was longer than expected. Will make tomorrow an especially easy day.

Note
Travel day. Left home at 5 pm Saturday for 9 pm flight from Stewart to Dublin. Then shuttle to heuston station and train to Killarney, arriving at Abbey lodge about 5 pm local time. All went according to plan.
