A good first half was undone by a very poor second! A few small misses 1 through to 8 then unhinged at 9 (about 12 minutes), 14 (5 minutes) and somewhat weirdly 15, where I couldn't make my weary brain understand it was the last control just 70 metres from the finish. Ran almost 6.8km on a 4.6km course, with most of the extra coming at 9 as evidenced by the Garmin log. Log also shows I almost got there at the first attempt but didn't go far enough!

Oceania Sprint at Unitec in Auckland. Pretty good run, slow to start and a couple of minor errors, maybe a minute all up.

Morning run with Deb from Beachside Camping ground to English Bay and return. Nice trail including a section across a mangrove boardwalk, although a bit slippery after the overnight rain. Did the side loop up to the lookout.

Morning run in Whangarei with Deb. Started in light rain but quickly stopped. Nice loop down to The Basin and around. Garmin stopped working part way round so time and distance are a questament.
