Well, my cold really took hold on Friday and we cancelled our trip to Newcastle:-(
Positive was being able to be on hand to organise the Interclub at Connorton today where we had a massive (for Wagga) turnout of almost 60 people (we count 30 as being a good showing!) Quite a few were local road runners who took the chance to try Orienteering for the first time. The technical granite terrain at Connorton can either intimidate or captivate and I think the latter held sway today and we look like picking up a few new members.
Orienteering (Control placement) 1:43:40 [3] **** 5.68 km (18:14 / km) +154m16:04 / km (sick)shoes: Mizuno Wave Kazan trail
Putting out controls with Deb at Connorton (yes back here again already!) for Sunday's Interclub. Nice morning, not too cold and forest was looking good after a bit of rain. Downside is that I appear to have freshened up my cold so not sure how I'll go at the State Leagues in Newcastle over the weekend.
