Usual strength and conditioning, plus I received a very painful calf massage from the exercise physiologist!

Thursday Jul 25 #

10 AM

Running 22:37 [3] 4.01 km (5:39 / km)
ahr:143 max:150 (injured) shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 20

Short morning run in Wiradjuri and wetlands with Deb.

Wednesday Jul 24 #

9 AM

Gym 45:00 [3]

Similar session to Monday however also got some good advice from one of the exercise physiologists about "releasing" muscle tightness after exercise.

Tuesday Jul 23 #

5 PM

Running 22:00 [3] 3.5 km (6:17 / km)
(injured) shoes: Asics Gel Numbus 20 Black

Short, slow out and back run at Lake Albert with Deb. Time and distance estimates as forgot my Garmin.

Monday Jul 22 #

10 AM

Gym 45:00 [3]

Similar session to last week with a few other machine exercises thrown in. Slight weight increase on leg presses and knee lifts.

Sunday Jul 21 #

10 AM

Orienteering race (Interclub #6 Wolfram) 47:06 [4] *** 4.16 km (11:20 / km) +128m 9:49 / km
ahr:148 max:182 spiked:9/11c (injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Diachi

Did the shorter hard nav course today. Nice effort by first time bush setter Jack. Too low on 2 and parallel error on 8, lost probably 2 minutes all up. Steady pace where I could ie flat or downhill but walked all the uphills (physio's orders!).
1 PM

Orienteering (Control collection) 48:58 [2] *** 4.2 km (11:40 / km) +110m 10:19 / km
ahr:140 max:172 (injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Diachi

Covered almost as much territory as my run earlier (don't tell my physio!) but a fair amount slower (forgot to turn off the Garmin on one - obvious - car leg!)
