manchester road race. actual running time more like 39:30ish, took me 1.5 mins to get across the start line. lots of stupid old fat slow (more so than me) people in front of me, couldn't stretch legs at all. and hip hurt.

my hip is super sore today. its like a big bruise right on the rotator part. hurts every time I take a stride over it. actually walking hurts a lot, running not too much, and wrestling is fine. guess I have to run everywhere now.

finished 1st. total points for the day: 71-3. not bad for five matches.

huge meet (30-40 people per bracket). normal is like 20. took all day. left at 5am, got back at 2am.

1st match: wnec. won by pin 1st pd.

2nd match: norwich. won by tech fall 16-0 or so

3rd match: plymouth state. won 9-0

4th match: quite possibly the highest scoring hwt match ever. big strong guy, he threw me around [literally] for the first two periods. going into the 3rd it was 12-6 him, but by then he was super tired. took him down and turned him 6 times for 18 points. actually turned him a 7th but the ref was tired of counting by then so he missed it. would have been a tech fall. won 25-12.

5th match: coast guard. totally dead from the last one, lost 7-5.

placed 2nd for the day.

pretty easy today
super hydrated, which helped. I think my problem last week was that I had too much food in my stomach, so I couldn't hydrate. Now that we're going hard every day, I really can't eat anything after noon or else its just a rock during practice.
