started raining 15 mins after I left, poured for the next two hours. but its bright and sunny now.
finally found a wrench that fits my seatpost, raised it an inch or two (only 1 inch left in the post...). It made all the difference in the world. no strain on the knees, but my back is kinda sore. I guess now I need a longer handlebar stem. Or maybe just a bigger bike..

so it was really like 8 hours, but only 1 worthy of effort...
out in the sun all day, got fried
fun until the typhoon hit, at which point we ran in a crazy panic off the mountain (hey that should count as running training) and hid in the car. the lightning was cool though.
