spent pretty much all afternoon skiing or packing track. many laps around the fields. two loops up and over the mountain, fairly out of control on the way down. a couple more laps by headlamp when dad came home.

full day of skiing at okemo with dad and dan. 28 inches of powder last night helped the trails a little. and it kept most of the monkeys stuck at home, so it was kinda empty. they had groomed hardly any trails, so they were all bumps

up the hill in the backyard. snow was hard and crusty and there were some super hard snowshoe tracks, so I managed to stay on top of the crust most of the time. going downhill was enough to punch through but that just made it soft on the knees.

drove home right after the tourney, didn't get in until 5am. on a related note my hip now hurts less than my neck, and there's less skin on my face than rugburn. last meet until january. woohoo.

so I saw the trainer today about my hip. says its "snapping hip syndrome." apparently this is like a tight IT band, but more in the hip and with more snapping. anyway its not fatal and I've get to do some rehab to stretch it before practice every day.
