roller ski 54:00 [3]13.8 km (3:55 / km)
Interesting that I haven't lost too much speed since last year - only 10 seconds or so behind the end of last season, and probably a minute ahead of where I was at the beginning. The off-season rollerblading must have been good for something. Though I'm certainly missing the endurance, I'm now wiped after 4 laps instead of 7 or 8.
5:24, 5:05, 5:04, 5:01
Threw in two double pole laps around the flatish section of the hill at the end:
1:25, 1:21
soccer 1:00:00 [3]

rollerblade 50:00 [3]15.5 km (3:14 / km)

Sunday Aug 19

orienteering race 53:58 [3]4.8 km (11:15 / km)
Red course at Tahquitz. Nice fast woods, but the map hasn't really been fieldchecked (not even attempted), so half of it is just contours that are mostly wrong. But if you go into it expecting that its not too bad. Fun course except for a crazy 400ft in 200m climb back up the hill.
orienteering race 38:37 [3]4.3 km (8:59 / km)
Green course. Shared a few legs with red, but didn't go to the lower end of the map so it avoided the huge climb back up.
run 20:00 [2]
control pickup
