hiking 2:00:00 [3]
Started from Snow Flat in Yosemite, climbed Mt Hoffman (10,800), then traversed along the ridge to two other little unnamed summits, and finally to Tuolumne Peak (10800). Easy most of the way except for a dodgy class 4 section that I backed off of and dropped under. The full ridge view (from sunday): on the horizon - Hoffman on the left, plus the two sharkteeth going right, and Tuolumne is the big flat one.
C • That class 4 section looks ... 2

1:06, 1:09

the third one felt as strong as the fifth, but I had stopped to drop a shirt just before and I forgot to restart the watch, so the time is a guess. also I kicked somebody really hard in soccer yesterday, so the top of my foot is black and blue. hurts a lot when I walk, but not so much while skiing.

orienteering race 39:00 [4]4.5 km (8:40 / km)
3rd leg Green at the Relay Champs in CT. Good course, didn't have much trouble with navigation, one hesitations after coming down a long blind crosshill in some thick stuff, and another where I just messed up a bearing, but everything else was pretty clean. Ran through a swarm of bees and got a few on the neck, which is nicely swollen and sore this morning.
